My kitaar is ‘n Luna – Dragon (Regs)

The phoenix is a mythical bird which consumed itself by fire every 500 years and a new young phoenix sprang from its ashes. Legend has it that the phoenix lands on nothing but the greatest treasures. It is the highest-ranked bird in China and represents beauty, good luck, the Empress, female energy, and the southern direction. The Phoenix symbolizes the female, or Yin half. The Phoenix is known for her ability to burst into flame and be reborn from her own ashes. But she was also seen as the epitome of grace and virtue. The Phoenix’s head represents the Sun and the Moon, her wings the wind, her feet the Earth, and her tail, the Planets in the sky. The Phoenix is known for being the Queen of All Birds and she only appears in peaceful and prosperous times.
The dragon, a legendary reptilian monster, is deified in the Taoist religion and was the national emblem of the Chinese Empire. Among the Chinese people, the dragon is traditionally regarded as a symbol of creativity and good fortune, and represents the Emperor, male energy and the eastern direction. The Dragon symbolizes the male, or Yang half. It was believed that the noble Dragon could swallow the Sun and the Moon, conjure the winds and the waves and cause other natural disasters with his great power.
The combination of phoenix and dragon is similar to that of a yin/yang, symbolizing the union of opposites, and together they are regarded as a symbol of harmonious equality in Marriage. It’s no wonder that these magnificent creatures working together as a team could bring harmony and happiness to a couple’s marriage.
The Yin Yang symbol, also known as the Tai Chi, originated from the Chinese philosophy, I-Ching, that observes the natural phenomenon of our universe. Ancient Chinese observers discovered the shape of the Yin Yang symbol by tracing the pattern of an 8-foot pole’s shadow that was projected onto the ground at various times during the year. The white half, or the Yang side represents the Sun, Summer and Man while the darkhalf or Yin side represents the Moon, Winter and Woman. Yin and Yang sides are forever in balance and one cannot exist without the other.
Dalk kort my ‘Female energy’ bietjie balans.
Vrouens is darem oulik!
